We're back!

Due to limitations on foster parents, I deleted our entire blog history, dating back to March of last year. Those of you who know our family, know things are fine, we just can't publish family pictures if they include someone who is "not ours." Nor can we publish an official name. Someday, things will be final (adoption) and we can update all we want. Until then, it's "just" the rest of us.

While the blog was inaccessible, we went to Spokane to see some friends be sealed at the Spokane Temple. Here's Kelly out front.

Andy had to work that day, so the children and I went the night before so we could stay at a hotel closer. It was so nice to stay somewhere that was brand-new, and our cousins traveled to come see us and swim at the hotel!

My sister, Margie, had her baby the next day, August 16. Margie and Jacob are both doing well.

Josh used the tan fabric with stars that is on Maggie below, for a cape one day. At the end of the day, Lilly grabbed some fabric and Maggie grabbed Josh's cape and made their own.

Daniel was working with Josh on learning the Scout Law. He was acting as a drill sergeant, having him do jumping jacks along with himself and recite after him..."A Scout is trustworthy, loyal..."
Daniel, Lilly, and Maggie started piano lessons this month. Maggie doesn't practice much, so we might just wait for her to continue until next year sometime. Lilly practices a lot, and Daniel does really well. He has several years of band experience, and so he has picked up how to read music and play pretty decently. He jazzes up most of the songs for practice.

Every summer, we go to the drive-in in Wenatchee at least once. Last week, we saw Up and Ice Age 3. Up was fun to watch, but Andy and I both slept through IA3.
It was a HOT day and evening, at over 103 degrees. Normally, it cools down so much by nighttime when we go, that we have to have blankets or warm clothes. So, the children wore their winter pajamas there. Check out Kelly's new winter boots...they all roasted.
It was pretty neat too, to see the lightning storm during the whole show. Many fires were started from the lightning, but it was so pretty to see.

That is stinky that you had to delete your blog! Hopefully, you were able to save a copy and can post it soon! ;)
