First is the word retard. Because I'm not as eloquent as I once was able to be, I'll share this link to help explain just a little of why this particular r-word is offensive to me.
The other R-word I'm hating right now is relapse. While we're getting ready to go on the adventure of a lifetime, another family is suffering unimaginable grief as their daughter's leukemia has relapsed for the second time, AFTER she went through a bone marrow transplant from her twin brother.
A few months ago, Mia was trying to raise money to help fight cancer.
Mia's family has been an amazing example of grace under fire. They are kind, respectful, and have remained dignified throughout their fight against Mia's leukemia.
Please pray for Mia and her family.
Did you know that 46 children will be diagnosed with cancer today? 7 children will die today, from cancer.
Cancer sucks.
