Not catching up yet, but some of our Spring Break so far

Yesterday was April Fools Day.  So when we got to my sister's house, we had dinner with dessert first.
My camera and cell phone were dead, so I couldn't take pictures!
For dessert, we had birthday cake for Daniel (who wasn't with us, but who has a birthday in a couple weeks)...made with meatloaf with mashed potato frosting mixed with ketchup (for color) on top.
To drink, we had "grape juice," which was a jell-o made to look like juice.
For dessert, we had frozen mashed potatoes in an ice cream container, and a bowl of cake frosted to look like spaghetti with chocolate meatballs and jelly on top.  It looked like spaghetti!

After dinner, we went to Eastern WA University and went to their climbing wall.
That was fun!  Next time I'll climb along with Andy and the older kids.  :)

After getting to our hotel last night, we had the cousins come visit and swim.
The hotel we go to has an indoor pool, hot tub, wading pool, and a twisty slide.
We played in the water until after 10pm.

Today, we went to the Spokane Temple first thing.
Kelly, Josh, Anthony, Lilly, Maggie
(Daniel stayed home to work)

Anthony sat down and grunted to not go any further.
He's coming off steroids.
Posing for me

We went to a church bookstore, and Maggie bought some earrings to remind her that she is a daughter of a King.
Lilly's earrings are from her cousin, Janice.

After the temple, we went to Subway and made the ladies there laugh a lot, just talking about our family a little.
Then, it was time for the new science center in Spokane, Mobius.

Folding airplanes

Lilly was making cuts in the paper cone to see if she could make it fly with the air blowing out of the circle.

The waterflow exhibit was interesting.

Andy making sound by moving the circles around the table.

Josh's cone design really flew high!  It made it to the top circle by the ceiling!

Me biting on a metal rod, with a straw over it.
While biting, you can hear the music that is otherwise silent.

Maggie doing lasers

Andy having fun with the ball maze.  The pieces are all magnetized and can be moved around.
Anthony had fun watching.

Back in the car while I rested my headachey mind.

I saw the cool tree on the wall and told the children to line up for a picture.  Kelly was not happy with that and told all the others to face the wall so I couldn't get a real picture.  Classic. :)

We walked around downtown Spokane, then went in the mall.  4 stories of escalators!
But, since we weren't going to movies, they couldn't go on the upper 2 escalator levels.

Swimming again tonight.
Anthony was having so much fun splashing.

Cousins filling up the pool!
