Happy Independence Day!
The girls dressed in red, white, and blue.
Daniel came to visit for a little bit.
Kelly went to her friend's party,
and the rest of us went to our annual 4th of July at Uncle Walt and Aunt Effie's.
Their pool is open and ready, so we had fun swimming.
It was so windy, but was still warm to swim.
When we were done though, Anthony was freezing when he got out.
He went into Anthony-survival mode and ran away from Andy (who had a dry towel for him),
settling instead in the sun under the outside table.
Only thing is, is that it was still windy under there so he had some goosebumps and shivered quite a bit.
It was so cute though, he just curled right up like a turtle.
Instead of the boy in the mirror, he was talking to the shadow boy.
Telling Lilly he didn't want to come out from under the table.
Daniel held Anthony for just a few seconds, but Anthony was quick to squirm out of his grasp.
Too much stuff to explore at Walt and Effie's!
Uncle Walt was saying how his grand father was a successful tobacco farmer back in the day.
With marijuana legal in WA state now,
he suggested that maybe he'll follow in the family tradition and have a field of pot down below.
We had a good laugh over that one, and talked about the "family business." :)
Ready to watch fireworks!
Anthony didn't even make it halfway home.
