#HelpingHearts

Maggie and I created this quilt to comfort someone affected by a recent church shooting in Texas.

We were both appalled that HALF the congregation perished.  :(
Rather than go down a slippery spiral of sadness, we decided to try act.

These were all scraps of some of our favorite blue fabrics.

Maggie chose the fabrics, I constructed the quilt, and I had a local artisan do the heart stitching all over.
We shipped it off to a new home today, and hope that the love we poured into it will be felt by the future owner of it.

Pattern can be found at Cluck Cluck Sew HERE.

Some pictures of Maggie and me (before my shiny forehead gets covered tomorrow with bangs!).
