We picked 6 boxes for canning this week.
Daniel has a thing for fruit, all fruit, but especially canned peaches.
He'll eat a whole jar at a time, if we let him.
Actually, he can eat a whole quart jar of any canned fruit in one sitting at any time.
The peach place was actually about 20 minutes away and it seemed like a whole different world.
The smell of pig farming was way too strong for me.
I learned that Andy worked a summer taking care of pigs and their living quarters when he was young.
We got to see many baby piglets and their mamas.
I want some animals, but nowhere near the scale of this operation and stench that we saw and smelled.
Maggie got to hold this baby piglet for a few seconds before it squirmed out of her hands.
It was born this morning!
After the opening prayer, I was in charge of the activity early so we could ride bikes to the local school.
Everyone was excited to "follow the leader" (me) to the school and we could have our lesson and treat there.
Everyone except Kelly.
She was in charge of the lesson and had a very fitting one.
It was a story about a girl's grumpy day that changed into a happier and more pleasant day after a lesson at church.
One part of our FHE is accolades, where each week we tell what our favorite thing about one family member is.

This week it was about Lilly.
We're so glad she's part of our family.

The baby pulled himself up to standing today! He stood while holding on to furniture. Progress, I'm sure he'll be walking before we're ready for it!

You seem to be good at growing all kinds of things including some beautiful children. Gosh it's hard to believe they are getting so grown up. I've been thinking about you a lot. Be well and take care
