Day 1 of our EPIC adventure in Florida

As we were packing, I was trying to figure out how to pack just a little bit of this cherry syrup that we mix some of Anthony's medicines with.
Our local pharmacy gave us a small container to put some in, but no label...my over-analyzing self was worried that airport security wouldn't let us through, but they did. Whew!

We spent all evening Saturday packing and cleaning.
Then, we ran to the store and got a new car seat for Anthony, so we'd know for sure that it was FAA approved. He needed a new one anyway.
Anthony thought it was fun to get fitted in the seat. :)

All our luggage ready to go!
We stayed up late getting ready, then woke up at 2:45 to be at the airport on time...
we were early to the airport, but ready.

Anthony was tired and fussy at first, but was so excited when the plan started going fast, then took off to the air. He squealed with delight and clapped his hands.
Here, he's just chillin'.

After a LONG day of flying, we arrived in Orlando, and more specifically, Give Kids the World Village.

This is the view looking up, inside the House of Hearts.

We arrived to our villa with a HUGE Candyland party going on right in front.

Our villa was just across the street from the playground that the party is based at.

All the fire hydrants were painted fun.

We were eating dinner and the flower pots were driving Kelly nuts.

So she went over to rearrange.

The Gingerbread House, where we ate often.

We were always served by volunteers, and the food is from Perkins Restaurants.

Sooo yummy!

The Ice Cream Palace, open from morning till night.

The kids could have any kind of ice cream, banana split, milkshake, or other treat anytime they wanted. I think this was provided by Breyers and Unilever.

Daniel could have won an award for how many treats he enjoyed from here.

Kelly applying sprinkles to her ice cream.

When we arrived, we saw these gecko-like things all over.

They are called anoles.

So, when we were getting ready to close the blinds for the night, this is what we saw. :)

The first night we arrived, we could already feel the extreme humidity, and we started noticing that the water had a weird taste.

We discovered that the Orlando Wal*Mart is busier than we've ever seen a store be...and that's later than 9PM, and with kids all over in there. The cashier: "You should see this place at 2-3 in the morning!"
