My big brother, Abe, and his wife, Deb, went to Wenatchee for a Heart concert last night.
They had an extra ticket that Nathaniel (their son, my nephew) really did not want to go with, so they treated me!
It was so fun and was a bright spot in this year of frustrating chaos in my life. :)

We were in Row 9 on the FLOOR!!
I knew about half the songs, but liked just about all the music.
Ann really has a powerful voice that sounds good, and even pretty when she's doing her harder rock.
Nancy was fun to watch with her guitars. She was jumping around like a 20-year old!
Anyway, on the songs that I didn't know as well, I had fun people-watching, whether they were on stage or trying to sneak up to the first row to get closer pictures, or the drunk woman behind us.
But, one guy in particular, the lead guitarist, I nicknamed a zombie.
He had no emotion on his face, he didn't move much, but just did his thing with the guitar and stood there.
I know everyone's different and all, but I feel like if I had that talent and was in such a great set, I'd be feeling more and be all over the place!
I'm probably wrong though.
Silhouette of the security guy who kept having to get people to get away from the front row.
He would let some people go up the aisle to take a picture or two, but some he wouldn't let go farther than he could reach.
The drunk woman behind me kept trying to get with him...I don't think her husband appreciated that.
Nancy Wilson
Kelly was at the concert with her friends too!
They were only 4 rows in front of us, so I kept looking at her and her friends, kind of checking on them, during the songs I didn't know as much.
Nathaniel stayed at our house for the concert, and did stuff with the kids.
They played Monopoly, played video games, and ate.
When we got back, we all hung out for a while and just had fun together.
I love my family.
They are all so nice, understanding of my craziness, love my children and Andy, and are fun.
Debbie was doing the squished face where you hold your cheeks in and say, "My mom said fat girls can't smile, but I can!" Lilly's been doing that lately.
She let me take a picture of her doing that to Abe. :)
Anthony took over Debbie's new iPhone.
Uncle Abe was really good at keeping Anthony from grabbing it and running!
He tried a few times...
Anthony was pointing at Lilly because Abe was putting Lilly on the Dr. Seuss app picture.
Thank you so much for such an amazing and fun night Abe, Deb, and Nathaniel!!
