"Don't eat Pete!!"
For Family Home Evening, we played Don't Eat Pete for the activity (not the snack, because Maggie's spice cake was that).
You put small candies on a board similar to the chart below.
One person goes out of the room while the others choose which number Pete is on.
The person comes back in the room and starts picking up candies one by one, until they try to pick Pete, when everyone yells "Don't eat Pete!!"
We'd played it before, but this time Anthony jumped pretty high every time there was a sudden yell to not devour Pete.
It was also his first time playing it too.
He recently discovered the sweet taste of candy...not a great thing.
But, not a bad thing either. He didn't like sweets until he was 5, because of the chemo he had been on.
Salty was his thing before.

Lilly's arms before allergy testing
All the vials of different allergens.
Her arms were marked for which allergen.
If any reacted, we'd know she had that allergy.
Ended up with no reactions.
Expensive test.
She was so itchy, but couldn't it any!
Anthony decided he needed make up in the form of red marker.
...and on the belly too.
Anthony and I took the train to Seattle for the first time since early spring.
The King St. Station had been under extensive renovations on their gorgeous interior for the past couple years, and it seemed like it'd never get done.
It finally did, and is so beautiful!
We bought five different varieties of apples to make applesauce and pie filling.
JOSH turned 15!!
His favorite cake is lemon, so we made some lemon cake and got him some McDonald's food for lunch at school. His friends all like lemon cake now too. :)
Lemon cake for us too!
Kelly was running in a meet, and Anthony didn't want to stand up any longer.
Pretty gross though, with goose poop everywhere!
We were sanitizing non-stop, and using a container of wipes.
Kelly running
She had a GREAT season, even with her ankle being injured half the time.
Next year, she may even go to state!
Anthony was sheriff for Halloween.
He was fascinated by all the superheroes at preschool.
Dancing for everyone.
Still not lining up with the class, but demanding attention.
But who can resist that cute face?!
Getting messy after trick or treating the high school classrooms.
Ready to go to the Halloween party at church.
Lilly was the cake walk caller outer.
It was a trunk or treat.
Everyone decorates their cars and the kids go around the parking lot to get candy.
Anthony was terrified of our friends' car. The over size teeth or something...
Anyway, they moved the trunk up and down, making it look like the teeth were eating something.
He freaked out! Poor boy.
Maybe next year it won't be so scary.
He loved getting candy though.
Anthony with one of his favorite buddies.
First fire of the season!
Slender Man
We had our friends over for another Family Home Evening, and played Don't Eat Pete again.
This time with fruit snacks.
