Christmas Eve, a.k.a. our night of pampering

Our family was so blessed this Christmas.
We were adopted by a cancer support group, friends, and family.
First, we got to see Auntie Jenny and her mom, Shelly, the day before Christmas Eve.
They had a lot of fun shopping for all the children.
Anthony slept through lunch. Jenny loves getting snuggles from Anthony.
Later that night, Anthony was playing in his monkey jammies.
Of course, he loved being under the walker.
Christmas Eve, we were visited by Teresa, Shauna, and Jim. They bore many, many goodies and gifts. Wonderful, nice, and funny people. :)
Anthony finally got to wear his new adoption outfit from Sarah. Don't you just LOVE the red flannel onesie under those overalls?!
The pile of goodies.
Every year, the residents of Ronald McDonald House in Seattle get to go on an Argosy cruise on Christmas Eve.
Here we are waiting to board the bus, ALL TOGETHER!

Boarding the busses.
Our police escort were waiting.
Part of our V.I.P. treatment was the police escort.
Look closely...
This is what I-5 in Seattle looks like WHEN WE'RE THE ONLY ONES ON IT!!!
We closed down I-5 with our police escort.

We were so important that we weren't allowed to get wet between the bus and the boat.

The children all enjoyed face painting, except we didn't think of getting Anthony done until it was too late at the end. We were going to do some Christmas lights around his cute little bald head.
Here's Lilly with her rainbow and pot of gold.

When we arrived on the ship, there were dum dums on each table.
Maggie's dumdum was blue.
We were able to order ANYTHING to drink.
The children all asked for hot chocolate. The waiter asked if they wanted whipped cream on top. There was no hesitation for their "yes!"

Our whole cruise was accompanied by the police boat. At one point, they were making a cool display with their hoses.
Did you know that, when shooting water full-blast with the hose, it forces the police boat backwards at a rate of 8 miles per hour?!

Our food was catered and was beautiful and delicious!!
Dessert was gorgeous and yummy as well. The decoration on top is a piece of chocolate, with stuff edibly embossed on.
Visiting with Santa
The Seattle skyline looked a lot bigger in person.

Maggie's nose was so sparkly.
Our boarding picture. This is a picture of the picture. I had another picture of it, but the flash looked wrong right in the middle.
