End of November

Thanksgiving week, it SNOWED in Seattle! The children had snow days for 2 of the 3 days before Thanksgiving. So, it was like a snow week!

Anthony all bundled up after having fun watching the older kids play in the snow.
Drying off and getting warm after playing in the snow.
The children made thrones on Josh's bed that week. They used their pillows, blankets, and the wall for support. Check out the snow!!

Anthony was helping us shop on Thanksgiving. He liked the GameStop ad.

Josh, Lilly, and Maggie were having fun with the Legos.
While we were in this room, Anthony was LOVING having furniture his height to climb on.
I think their creation is a house with a sunroof and a pool with a diving board.

Just some of the dozen or more pies on Thanksgiving.
Bob Leong and his friends made dinner for House residents.
They cooked 8 turkeys, 60 pounds of potatoes, and lots more side dishes and desserts.
He and his friends worked all day to make such a wonderful meal for us.
Our family especially appreciated that they made mashed potatoes from scratch, rather than a mix.
Andy's day off was the day before Thanksgiving, so he and the older children came to Seattle then for an early dinner.
Anthony had had chemo the day before that, and was having such a rough time. So, Andy and all the other children got to go visit Nana, Grand-Nana, and Aunt Di for an early Thanksgiving dinner while Anthony and I stayed near the hospital.
Anthony loves Heidi.

Check out his curved posture here.
Heidi brought out a foam wedge...
...100% improvement!!
Our little Christmas tree in our room at the RMH.
When I exercise or do laundry in the basement, the kids like to do the arcades.
Anthony always gets to crawl around, but Josh or the girls often pick him up to play the arcades too.

A group of ladies came to the House with a craft project for each child to make a wreath.

That evening, Lilly and Maggie had holed up in the bathroom, changing clothes and trying new looks. The blue wrap Maggie has on is really leggings...
Anthony and Laura. She always has fun ideas to keep him occupied while she's checking him out.
UGLY but so pretty chemo. Can you guess which is the poison that's keeping my baby alive?
