Anthony's 6 weeks of IV antibiotics were finished on Tuesday, so SO NO MORE hooking him up EVERY 8 HOURS!!!! I can get a full night's rest now!!! He slept through his night ones.
After his surgery, he waits in the recovery room with nurses until the doctor signs orders for him to be brought back to me. There was some delay on Tuesday, so he was in recovery for an hour. When the nurse finally brought Anthony to me, she was having so much fun. She said that he came out of anesthesia so happy, and kept trying to bat at or kick the tennis balls hanging from the ceiling (?). Finally, they decided he earned his own tennis ball. He kept throwing it on the floor so the nurses could chase it for him. She loved it (and Anthony of course). :)
Yesterday at the clinic, one of the MA's picked up Anthony when he motioned for her. She took him behind the desk, and all the office ladies and other MA's were having so much fun with him. They love his new hair. :) See why I loved this visit to Seattle?!

Even though I'm excited to see some new docs for Jax, with the exception of his ped! I'm going to have a hard time starting over at a new hospital. When Jax had surgery on Tuesday, the nurses in the waiting room knew us, and we chatted for a bit. You get to know so many people. Starting over will be so hard!
You so deserved a great visit to Seattle!! I loved all the pictures! I need a Strang family fix...I'll see what my schedule looks like and see if I can make it happen soon!!
