Summer break!!!!

Last week was the last week of school.

We were told to be at an awards ceremony at Kelly's school.

We thought it was for her participating in track.

Kelly kept getting called to the stage, for 5 AWARDS!!

One was the prestigious D.A.R. Award.

The older children keep setting up a "movie-viewing" arrangement for Anthony.

He must've been watching Toy Story in this one.

HERE are the finished hospital kits!!!!

We created 60 for our local hospital, for parents of pediatric patients who are given short notice to be sent to Seattle for more intensive or specialized care.

The ER people and the Pediatric floor people LOVED it!

Now, Sarah H. and I are going to really get going on our next project, same thing, but for Children's Hospital, SCCA Unit.

Josh and Lilly's school had a field day...this is how they came home.

The children saw this rainbow out our dining room window and were so excited because it was the darkest one they'd ever seen. I adjusted the picture on the computer to show how bright it really was.

Josh was resting, and Anthony couldn't have him doing that without being climbed all over.

Every summer, our grocery bill explodes!

Melons were on sale last week.

We went through 1 1/2 each day.

Kelly learned of a cool way to put newsprint on her nails, and seal it under clear polish.

She had fun with a weed's seeds and the camera.

We've been spending more time outside, preparing for when we're in Florida.

I've been weeding the garden a little bit each day, and keep seeing these ladybugs.

Rhema loved ladybugs, so I had to take a picture and show it to her mom on FaceBook.

Tonight, Andy made chocolate chip cookies.

Anthony loved them.

He even drank a lot of milk in his sippy cup.

Usually, he'll only drink water.

He must understand the laws of eating cookies and milk. :)
