Anthony loved the Christus here as well.
He liked the more life-size one at Idaho Falls more, though. This one is 15 feet tall, I think.
Kelly wasn't feeling well, so even though we were in her dream place, she rested.
Josh just chillin.
Anthony sees these pictures now and gets all excited, exclaiming, "Jesus!"
We had time so went to the Conference Center.
It was so neat to see the place we see every 6 months online, in person!
Here is a gorgeous fountain.
Over 20,000 people fit into this building!
I think Susan (our guide) said ALL the artwork in the Conference Center is original.
It was so amazing and beautiful to see originals of pictures I've seen all my life.
On top of the Center, we could see the capital, I think, and an old mansion.
Love the architecture!
It was very hot up on the roof, and Anthony loves all fountains....
actually, we let him cool off a little by dipping his arms in. We just made sure he didn't get all the way in!
You'd never believe it to see that this field is on top of a building!

The ground is wet around him because he lightly splashed some of that fountain on Lilly.
She retaliated by big splashing him back, almost getting my new camera!
We were hot, tired, and hungry.

Details on the Joseph Smith Building.
Just a small hint of what was inside.
And...inside.
It was beautiful and so detailed!
The details reminded me of the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, WA.
At the Davenport, I think they told me once that the ceiling glass had to be painted black during WWII so it wouldn't be an easy target.
Can you imagine?!
Anyway, the Joseph Smith building was a hotel as well at one time.
After we had our fill of Salt Lake, we went to Provo to get Kelly's tour of Brigham Young University.
She really wants to attend college there.
We were driven around in a long golf cart and saw the campus.
Kelly was in heaven.
Afterwards, we had ice cream that is made at BYU.
The kids at EFY (church camp) were anxious to get their ice cream too, so the line was long.

We stayed at Lakeside RV Campground in Provo.
The hostess was so nice, the site was clean, the pool was great, and there was laundry!
The hostess was touched by Anthony, and when we left the next day, she brought him some swim toys for our trip.
She had a sister who had special needs who had passed away in her 40's.
And our Anthony reminded her of her sister.
Many people on our trip were touched by Anthony in this way.
He brought back happy memories, and created new ones too.
