We went to church in North Platte, Nebraska.
The boys had just returned from their scout camp, and were all worried about their friend, Bryce.
Bryce was riding a bike at camp and crashed.
He had so much gravel ground into his face, he almost needed surgery.
There was gravel in his sinuses, and had 100+ stitches.
I'm actually thinking he had over 200 stitches.
Poor boy.

We knew we'd be staying in a hotel that night in Omaha because we'd purchased rooms on Priceline for it.
In a hotel, you can't really set up a camp stove and start cooking.
We didn't want to go out to eat because it was Sunday, and the cost.
So, at dinnertime, we stopped at a rest stop and set up cooking there.
It was windy and I was wondering why a family was setting up their tents.
Turns out they weren't setting them up, just letting them dry out in the wind.
I think they were from California.

Maggie helped cook.
We had cream of mushroom with pasta and chicken.
Salad on the side.
We stayed at AmericInn Hotel & Suites Omaha. It was a very nice hotel, and was so refreshing after the stressful few days before.
We went swimming there and the kids had fun making a current by "running" in the pool in a circular pattern. The force of their movement made the water just swirl and I had to hold Anthony on the steps for a while. They got good exercise though!
